Just me and my goats

"Sickness shows us what we are."
--Latin Proverb

If that's true, then I'm a slug.

This year's been a banner year for my local insta-care. Pharmaceutical companies everywhere are singing praises to my name. Meanwhile, my nightly goat dances around the fire are only proving to singe my eyebrows and make for some very displeased goats. So much for ritual sacrifice.

The point of this inane rambling is to let you know that I am dying. Well, I feel like it anyway. Lest you think I don't treasure the heck out of you guys, I'm posting this so you'll know that I'm unable to read your posts. I will try to get caught up asap but forgive me if it takes a while.

In the mean time, enjoy your black Friday's, turkey leftovers, and bleating-free slumbers.

Until next time,

L.T.

We all feel like we are dying, some days more than others. Feel better soon!

I know I'm not dying, but I've spent the last week feeling like someone pierced my belly button and then dragged a porcupine through it. Backwards. So I'm right there with ya, sister!

So sorry, sweetie. Hope it ends... well, you know what I mean -- ends well. Like healthily. Yeah. That.

Not fair! To be sick this time of year- well ever, for that matter. Wishing you a speedy recovery and a full-night's sleep ASAP!

I'm with you about the slug thing. It can really suck being sick. So sorry you're not well.

Here's to double doses of Vitamin C, plenty of rest, green drinks, and whatever medicine will get you back in the saddle.

Ugh. Feel better soon. I have a sick little one and I always feel miserable for other people who have the yuckies.

How I wish I could take it for you. I gladly would. I and your littlest fan (IGR) are praying our wearying the Lord with our pleadings for your quick and full recovery. How i wish there was more we could do. It is rotten to be miserable and it literally hurts my heart that you and the rest of the LT crew are down and out. Need it, you name it, I'll be there. Today, tomorrow, ALWAYS!

Being sick stinks. Hope you are better soon. I'd knock off that dancing around the fire thing and go for drugs. Modern day meds kick butt over goat dances, at least that's what I've heard.

I have been a slug for going on three years now...

But I so hope you get over whatever is dragging you down.

Love you --

You can't die we just met. :) I hope you feel better soon and stop giving all your money away to medicine and insta cares. Interesting proverb by the way. Like you said, if it's true... then I'm cranky. I hope thats not true.
