Meme about Me

Luisa from Novembrance tagged me for a meme ages ago and I’m just barely getting around to it. So without further ado, here are my answers:

Five North American Cities in Which I’d Seriously Consider Living:
1. Long Beach
2. Phoenix
3. Somewhere in Oregon
4. Salt Lake (since I live here and all)
5. New Orleans

Five Songs to Which I know all the Words:
1. The Saltwater Room, Owl City
2. Where I Stood, Missy Higgins
3. A Sorta Fairytale, Tori Amos
4. Mr. Jones, Counting Crows
5. I Will Show You Love, Kendall Payne

Five Foods I’d Hope to have in Unlimited Quantities on a Desert Island:
1. Bread
2. Eggs
3. Tikka Masala
4. Green Beans (fresh)
5. Potatoes

Five Chores I Should be doing instead of Blogging:
1. Dishes
2. Cooking
3. Vacuuming
4. Laundry
5. Basically everything

Five Childhood Friends I’d like to See Again:
1. Houdini (because I always wish I could.)
2. Andrew
3. Chadley
4. Rachel
5. Kael

Now I get to name 5 people I’d like to know the answers to these same questions! I’m going to say:

Tamika
Laura Bingham
Suzy Hayze
Carolyn V.
Elizabeth Mueller

Thanks, Luisa! That was fun! Stay tuned, M. Gray tagged me for a meme about writing and that will be coming up soon! Thanks guys!

What is tikka masala?

I also want to know what Tikka Masala is!

And I'm all for living in Phoenix or Long Beach right about now!

Tikka Masala is an indian food dish. Usually chicken in a curry sauce (delish!) served over rice with a mix of vegetables. I love it!

I'm all about living somewhere other than Utah right now, so Phoenix sounds divine.

And the songs, I don't think I know the words to any of them... But then again, I generally sing along and don't realize I know the words.

Oregon? OREGON? You can't even pump your own gas in Oregon! Tyrant state!!!!!

On the flipside, you'll be glad to know that Houdini makes an appearance in Ghost Machines...

Long Beach in which state? Just curious.

Fun post!

Most desert rats consider Phoenix a sister-city to us, so yes, I might consider living there, too.

Love fresh green beans, too!
Pass the Tikka Masala! (We buy that jarred sauce @ TJs all the time...too lazy to make it from scratch!)

Ha! I don't know ANY of those songs! I feel so uneducated.

I loved New Orleans, and well.. I christened myself Phoenix in the blogworld... I found your choice of cities very interesting. Just curious, except for New Orleans, why is it so west, mid-west focused? You generally don't like the east coast?

Thanks for the tag! This will be fun! I'm thinking already.

The chores instead of blogging will be gut wrenching to admit, but I'm up for the challenge!

New Orleans? Really? You are a brave soul.

Those are great! I love learning more about you!

I will do this one tomorrow. Thanks for the shout out!

Oregon...love it. Try Netarts. There's a wonderful little house on Pearl Street that is a bit of heaven on earth. Let me know if you want to visit and I'll give you the info.

My list would have to include tomatoes. I dried zillions of Roma's this year and I use them in everything.

Deb said...

Loved your list. Especially that you could't live without bread. Although I must admit, chocolate would have to make my list

Let's shrug off our chores and go eat some bread.

I vote for Oregon. And not just because it's further North! Lived there for a few years and just loved it. =)

Love learning more about you too!

I loved learning a bit more about you this way!

I too LOVE Indian food. Give me anything with CURRY and I'm good! :)

I love reading tags because I like getting to know more about ya. I think it's funny you put green beans down because someone would have to bribe me to eat those. :)

Me! Me! Ask me! I think I'll do it anyway! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment AND for having faith that I can write!

Fun to learn more about you. If it wasn't such a lib state, I'd love to live in Oregon. I think I'm more suited to live in a wetter state - but not with hot humidity. What's it like there in the summer? I would never live in Arizona - way too hot - might be nice in the winter.
There's a million things I should be doing instead of blogging - breakfast is one of them. Kids are starting to dig into the cupboards.

Because you always wish you could... what?

Oh, and Tikki Masala is awesome! I prefer the way they make it in Japan, definitely great with an asian twist.
