Hello everyone! Long time no see, huh? I apologize that it’s been so long and apologize in advance that I’m not going to be “officially” back for a while longer, too.
Thank you so much to those of you who have contacted me or left comments to wish me a speedy return. It means so much to me and I want each of you to know that I’m grateful. Hugs to all!
For now, please know that I’m away because I’m working very hard and that as soon as I’m able, I’ll fill you in on all the wild happenings of my life. (The true beauty of that is that I’ll fill you in but not inundate you with my life’s drama. It’s better that way. Too bad I couldn’t do that for myself!)
If you’ll allow me a small indulgence, I’d love to know what you’re all up to since I’ve been unable to visit your places. If you can spare a moment, leave a comment and tell me how you’ve been. I miss you all very much!

My little world is the same as ever. Fighting my inner hermit and struggling to be more. Teething baby, copious amounts of family visiting this month (only some of whom I actually like - sigh), and many attempts to fight the old feelings of worthlessness. And baking. For some reason, lots and lots of baking.

I wish for you less daily drama. I've been spending my time being a mom, writing and remodeling the front of our 95 year-old house. Oh yea, and waiting, forever waiting for a publisher to say yes.

Our summer just started and we're scratching our heads in the 119 degrees heat. Thank goodness for ice cream & a/c!! And I'm writing...mostly poems these days. That wasn't the plan, it's just the way my writing brain is going these days.
